In this abyss, where the patience of vultures unnerves you and those that hover loom closer, the ice shapes itself into grim and harrowing sculptures. The iron cannons of your ship may have kept you safe before, and the many faces that line its rim may have frightened others away. But in frost like this, you’d better steer carefully. You’d better not assume safe passage is a given. There are just some waters that should not be disturbed.
